Ingredients

  • 1 sourdough baguette
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh sage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gouda

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 °C.
  2. Add the butter, garlic and herbs to a bowl and mix until well combined and slightly ‘fluffy’.
  3. Slice the baguette diagonally in both directions to get little diamond shapes. Don’t cut all the way through.
  4. Spread the garlic butter everywhere you can.
  5. Once the butter is on and in the baguette, mix the cheeses and add them on and in the bread.
  6. Place the bread on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown.
  7. Enjoy!
